THE GOALS OF ROBINSON MIDDLE SCHOOL PTA
|
|
Our PTA has three primary goals, which are aligned with our mission
|
-
We are advocates for our children by:
-
hosting student assemblies during Red Ribbon Week and special programs that complement the existing curriculum
-
providing supplemental classroom and curriculum materials via teacher wish lists, supporting child safety issues through the efforts of the Texas PTA in Austin
-
supporting our faculty and staff to make them more available to the students.
-
We assist parents in developing the skills by:
-
providing parent education programs that address relevant parenting and teen-related subjects. These are presented at our general PTA meetings.
-
We encourage parent involvement by:
-
providing volunteer opportunities through on-going activities and special event projects throughout the year. This encourages parent participation for both on and off campus activities.
